Annarbor - Tile Manufacturer/Artist for Medival Monastery Encaustic Tile Project

This post is regarding a custom tile projec for a monastery chapel in Tonopah, Arizona (looking for an artist in or near Ann Arbor). The chapel design is based on a Medieval theme which lends itself to patterns made with encaustic tiles, which were so prevelant in churches and monasteries of that time period. The Poor Clare nuns there wish the floor to tell stories relevant to their religious community and faith, presenting the need for custom made tiles depicting various scenes and religious symbols. I am seeking out a tile artist/manufacturer in the Ann Arbor area (where I, the designer, am based) that would be able to work with me on the production of these tiles. Basically, it would involve creating tiles from wooden stamps that I would create. I would get the stamps to the tile artist/worker, who would then make the terra cotta tile, stamp it with the wood die, fill the impression with white slip, let dry until leatherhard, remove the excess slip to reveal the pattern, then glaze and fire the tile. If you have experience in working with terra cotta tile - especially if you have experience creating encaustic tiles (though not 100% necessary), please contact me for further discussion.
